Yes, it’s for a cell phone. That said, it doesn’t include apple laptops

It's a movement to wait to give cell phones esp phones with social media etc

iWatch must be turned off during school hours.

Can Apple Watch be on “school mode” instead of off?

Students who don’t bring their own chromebook/laptop, will be provided one by BIS.

Sione- not everyone gets a laptop from BIA but if you need it you should raise your hand.

Question: what is the estimated average amount of nightly homework kids/parents should expect?

My kids said get used to lots of homework but it seems like 30 mins a night monday through thursday.

hello. confirming, kids do not get lockers? where can we find a list of all available electives, clubs, and sports? how often do kids select electives? how many electives do the kids have per trimester?

Will the bus route reflect the later start time (piloted for 840)?

Is the bus from Washington area a straight shot, no stops?

do kids change clothes for PE, and do they have a secure place to put their bags, which may have a laptop inside?

Is there STEM club or courses in BIS to enhance interest?

We have a kid who has some learning support at elementary and we have heard there is a handover between the LS team at elementary and the one at BIS. Just wondering if any of you have experienced this and how it went? Anything you think it is good to know in advance about learning support at BIS 🤓

re: “Is the bus from Washington area a straight shot, no stops?” No, it is not an express. It is a local bus that makes 5-6 stops on the way to BIS. Leaves at 7:47am and 7:52am from the Washington corner at Arundel and Howard (where the crossing guard normally stands).
